Turnip Lanterns

On the week of Halloween we were challenged to carve a turnip lantern. Weird, huh! There was millions of  things on the turnips like hair, hats, halos + even earrings. When your parents were little they used turnips instead of pumpkins because the pumpkins are American + they had to pay a lot of money to buy a pumpkin. A lot of people brought them in and they were excellent!  The class was horribly smelly so if you ever try to carve one you better hold your nose!
