This is Primary 6 Room 12 - Kaboom!!

Hey,
this is Primary 6 Room 12 and we would like to tell you a wee bit
about what we have been learning in school so far. In art we have
been
finding out about Andy Warhol. We began by drawing a Simpsons
character
and used this to create our own colourful Pop Art. We have also
painted
a water colour picture with a Climate Change theme.

Both classes have had two Science Activity Afternoons that we all
really enjoyed. These involved games, activites and experiments on
extreme weather including: Tornado in a bottle, hot air rising, making
static electricity and measuring a tsunami.

Thanks for reading our blog.

See you later alligator!!

Hello P6 Room 12. Great blog! There's an AMAZING 2page photograph in Tuesday's Guardian of a tornado in the USA in 2008, taken by Jim Reed who has spent 18 years chasing extreme meteorological events.

In a while, crocodiles!

Thank you so much for your comments. It would be great to see a copy of the tornado photograph if you still have it.

Keep blogging!
