Weaving!

Our class this term have been learning to do weaving. We chose a couple of colours then began! First you have to put the string into the needle which isn`t as easy as it sounds. Next you have to go over then under through the string on the weave. You use one colour for a while before changing to the next. Most people managed to finish and they are all really good!!! I chose purple,red and white and Laura chose blue and purple. Some of the class used really bright colours and others liked darker colours! By Katie

Euro quiz 08

On the 10th of March four boys including myself from Primary 6 went to Clober Primary School for the Euro quiz. We went there with Mrs White and arrived at about quarter past nine we went into the gym hall and sat at a table. We had name badges and pencils we got questions asked by a lady from the council. After round 1 we were third after round 2 we were joint third with two other teams we got into the final with another school and just missed out on the top spot. We got certificates and a pencil case with different stationery in it we also got a map. We were congratulated from the orginisation for our effort we had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves. HFF highland family fortunes !

Primary 6B were hosting a quiz show called Highland family Fortunes.
I was the presenter called Alexis Macintosh.There was two groups
playing against each other.The Sutherlands and the Macleods. They were asked
questions about the highland clearances and Emigration.There were four
rounds; picture perfect then catchfraze after that it was what happens NEXT
and then finally Buzzer round then GUNGE!!! The filming took two hours
Our filmers were called Colin,Cameron and Ben.On the Sutherlands team was
Lauren playing the Duchess Grant was playing Patrick Sellar Ruaraidh was
playing Duke of sutherland.Angus was the sound for the scoreboard.BY ANNA
