Homework for Monday 4th February

Practise your French vocabulary by following this link. 'Dans le jardin.'

This week I want you to have a go at some recipes that Highland crofters would have used in their crofts and blackhouses. One of the most common ingredients was oats or barley.

Here is a link to a website with some recipe ideas. Recipe ideas. If you want to try a different traditional recipe then this website might give you some more ideas. Traditional Scottish Recipes.

I want you to record your cooking adventure in both words and pictures. If you have access to a camera then great! If not, then don't worry, record your experience in sketches.

That's great, Mr Milne! Loved Ben's porridge today. I had eaten so many flapjacks, oatcakes, shortbread and other goodies by 9.30 am that I was feeling a little bit like a lie down I was so full! Keep the comments coming...
