P6 Trip to Mugdock

Primary 6 visited Mugdock Park.

We have been learning about trees. At Mugdock we searched for minibeasts. We found some centipedes, woodlice and loads of slugs! We looked closely at a Silver Birch tree and our guide told us all about photosynthesis. We created a drama where we were different parts of the tree. Some of us were the bark, some the branches and the long hair of some girls was used to show the roots. I loved rolling down the grassy hill and messing around on the obstacle course.
